The End
Service. Every season of life tends to have it's themes. Before I came to Bible College I was an intern at my church. That season the Lord taught me service. Being a servant to all.

Nothing. I was able to go to CCBC in fall of 2005. My first semester God tore me apart. In the light of His glory I saw my pride, arrogance, selfishness, etc. Bible College was going to be a season for Him to rebuild my life the way He wanted it. I had spent nearly 20 years doing things my way, now it was time for Him to transform my whole being. So the first semester he taught me that I'm nothing.

Prayer. In the spring I spent my second semester in York, England. This is where God began to rebuild. I learned how to pray. Not to say I know how to pray now, but I learned the importance of prayer. Dave Sylvester, the Pastor in York, knows prayer is the only way to get things done. The church has 5 or 6 prayer meetings a week and he is at every single one. I learned more from his life than I did from any class.

Vision. Summer passed and Fall came around again. This time I went East and headed over the Okinawa, Japan. This is where God gave me vision. Vision for China. I prayed for China the rest of the semester, but not much came about. I loved it so much in Okinawa that I came back for the next Spring semester.

Action. It was when I came back that God started purring everything together. First I started studying Mandarin with Kayo who, by the way, will end up in China some day as well. After a few weeks with her Ping began teaching me as well. God gave me two chinese teachers. Next He gave me a job in China. I can't wait to see what He will give me while I'm in China!
